I’ve known Marci and Pat seemingly forever, and I’ve been wondering for YEARS when he was going to pull the trigger. So naturally, when I met up with them for their engagement shoot at Cliff Falls in Maple Ridge, one of the first things I said to him was “it’s about f’n time!”
I love when couples bring props and pets, and these two brought both! Their dog Suzie was quite the little camera suck (if she could talk, I’m pretty sure she would have been demanding equal camera time). Pat is quite the musician, so we definitely had to feature his guitar. Now, I wasn’t quite sure what he was serenading her with, but I had ten bucks on Brent Lee!
Over the years, Pat received (or did he make it up himself? I don’t remember anymore) a rather lengthy nickname – Cpt. Patrick T. Attitude, Esq. At the end of the shoot, I jacked his cowboy hat and tried to become equally as cool. But alas, it was more like Pvt. Raymond T. Asshat, Dbag. Oh well, gotta try!
