The Circle Line Harbor Lights Cruise was one of the things I was most looking forward to on our NYC trip. Now, the boats may not be five star yachts, but they have amazing views of New York, as well as cold beer. Sounds pretty good to me!
We started by cruising the midtown area of the Hudson River, and got a little recent history lesson about the plane that crashed into the Hudson several years ago, and the heroic actions of the pilot.
Then we went south to Lower Manhattan.
Cruised east on over to the Brooklyn Bridge, then north to see the sun going down over Manhattan, and the Empire State Building.
Back south to the Brooklyn Bridge!
Pretty sweet sunset reflection at the Brooklyn skyline. Looked like quite a few fun parties happening by the water as well.
Another stroll through Lower Manhattan.
And then what we REALLY came to see – sunset at the Statue of Liberty. So cool. Circle Line Tours was beyond cool, in that they gave us lots of time at the statue.
And back to port!
