Woke up to a lot of snow… obviously! There was a news team in the parking lot there to cover all the summer snow. We definitely caught something unique!
What is there to say about the drive north through Washington on the I-5…. NOTHING! Though we did stop in Seattle for lunch at some railroad themed restaurant. And then the rest of the way home!
We got home in the late afternoon sometime, and immediately went to our local Costco to get our photos developed at their one hour photo. Ahhhh what a different time we lived in!
And such ended our first ever epic road trip!
Of course, I have to add a few quick words from Mark here. (And seeing as how he’s a published author, HE probably should have wrote this whole damn blog!)
“I can still remember the smells and sounds of Reno, the stillness on 242...the heat of death valley. One of those trips that can never be recreated.
Now we are old and in bed at 8pm, we drive according to the road conditions, and the kids are always too damn loud.
At least we dont travel like Al Bundy!”
